Default Fake email warning!

If any of you guys get any emails that appear to be from UtahOTF like this:

*****

Hello user of Utahonthefly.com e-mail server,

Your e-mail account has been temporary disabled because of unauthorized access.

or anything to that effect, please note that this is not from UtahOTF and most likely contains a virus. You will never receive an unexpected attachment in an email from us, nor anything requesting your password or anything of that nature. Please be paranoid out there. It's for your own good! Never open suspect email attachments. If you ever have a question about something supposedly sent from UtahOTF, don't hesitate to post it here and ask us if it's legit.

I already got this twice last week twice supposedly from my ISP and having to do with my e-mail.

Having bit on a similar virus a couple years ago I am very careful opening attachments unless they are from Ouzel who has this uncanny way of finding lovelies in various stages attire and poses. ;o)

It is a virus and the reason why it is password protected is so anti viurs e-mail screens can't read the attachment and recognize the virus. It's damned annoying.

It's back. If you get any email from me or Mike or someone from Utahonthefly.com, be aware that it might not actually be from us or utahonthefly.com. It could be a virus. This is what the email will read. And don't open the attachment if there is one.

Hmm...I got that exact message 2 weeks ago on my business email account. I didn't open it, opting for updating my antivirus & running a full scan. Thanks for the heads up!

It's worth noting that UtahOTF will *never* send you an attachment in an email. Jason or I might send an email with a photo, etc. at your request but you will never receive a random email from UtahOTF with an attachment.
