I am considering a large arbor reel. Who out there has one? Do you notice much of a difference in performance? How so? Anyone know of a good lower end, affordable large arbor reel?

any inexpensive large arbors out there? any benefits to large arbors besides the speed of line retrieval? Any downsides to them?

I have the Okuma Integrity (<$50 @SW, though I bought mine in Malaysia) 5/6 and am very pleased with it so far - only been through a couple of months (~5 trips) so far though...

These large arbor reels seem to be the hot thing these days. All of you that have and use them seem to like them. What makes them so much better than a "normal" reel? Do they hold the same amount of line?

I have the Rocky Mountain Large Arbor from Orvis. I really like the advantage of being able to pick line up faster with it. Another thing with the large arbors is that the drag tends to be more uniform if you ever have to use it. Two cost related items I like with this reel is it costs about $79-89 and is a cassette style reel so if you use mulitple line extra cassettes only cost $19. I was hesistant at first to buy a cassette reel but for the last 2 years I have no complaints or problems.
