Stonefly Society Annual Banquet & Auction

The Stonefly Society will be having their annual Banquet and Auction on Saturday, January 22nd. There will be a cocktail hour from 6-7pm and dinner starts at 7pm. Tickets are $30 per person. It will be held at the Salt Lake Country Club. This year our guest speaker will be Shaun Lawson of Henry's Fork Lodge. We have some really great trips and fly fishing gear in our auction; Green River float with Dennis Breer; Fly Fishing private waters with Western Rivers; Float Trip with Sean Lawson on the South Fork, and many more. It should be a great event. We hope to see you all there.

The Stonefly Society of the Wasatch would like to invite you and your guests to attend our annual Dinner & Fundraiser at the Cottonwood Country Club.

COST: $30 per person or $50 per couple
DRESS: Casual

This event is only held once a year. The purpose is to raise funds to support our activities all year long. Every year we invite a respected and knowledgeable individual within the angling community to present on a topic of interest. This year Mr. Shaun Lawson from the South Fork Lodge will present on the South Fork River as well as all the creature comforts and activities the South Fork Lodge has to offer.

There will be dozens and dozens of items available for bidding. Including, float trips, rods, reels, lines, and many other fine items. Mark your calendars and plan on attending this incredible once-a-year event.

The banquet tonight was a great success. Thanks to Dave for putting on a good show. Shaun Lawson did a great job with his presentation. It really made you want to get up on the South Fork and experience the awesome fishing and scenery. We were able to raise some good money and do appreciate all who participated in the raffles and auctions. The attendance was one of the largest we've ever had!

Lonnie won a Scott rod which should treat him well this spring. Lucky sucker. Nick and Stef, of course, out bid everyone for the Shaun Lawson float trip on the South Fork. I got out bid on everything....:-(
