I just started tying with snowshoe hare's feet fur. It works great. As a result of this discovery, I propose we do a midge swap that includes this material as the key ingredient.
I propose a maximum of 15 participants, each tying 2 samples of their own invented midge (one to fish with, one to copy). Each midge must include snowshoe hare fur as an ingredient. The sign-up period will begin now and end on the 1/5/2005. The flies are to be mailed to me by Jan. 22nd. I will take care of the postage.
