Jdubya,

I don't know about any fishing but there is this great, honest to god, east coast Italian Rest. in the historic district of Sedona. It is called the Italian Grotto. It is run by a guy from Brooklyn and has been there for over 20 years. The food was so good we ate their 2 out of our 2 nights in Sedona. The owner actually told us to forget the menu and ordered for us. Mama Mia!

Never fished there but in college would have to drive through it a couple of times a year to play ball (football and basketball teams get to fly everywhere, baseball teams have to bus it!). Sedona is one of the more beautiful towns in the west. Good food, decent weather, and good atmosphere. There is a river (can't remember the name) that runs right down by the town.

Not sure what river was on the news tonight but it was at floodstage.
Better take a San Juan Worm!

Oak Creek is the name i believe. Small trout, tight spaces to cast.

Is this the same Oak Creek that I keep hearing about on the news? The same Oak Creek with RV's being washed down the middle of it? I would guess most of its fish were killed in that storm.

I wouldn't doubt it. But i am pretty sure that is the name of the creek. There is also the Salt River near Pheonix, Fshfanatic could probably tell you more than i could. But i do know when i lived in AZ we would fish it in the winter and there was some big bows, there is also some nice LMB to.
