just curious if anyone has this rod and how they like it. things you like and dont like. just bought a brand new one on ebay for $300

In my opinion, you can't find a better rod. I've thrown the 5 wt and the 7 wt and they are outstanding!

with Orvis Rods is that they have some variability in actions and is important to make a distinction between the tip flex rods and the mid-flex and full flex rods.

I've thrown the Orvis T3 mid flex rods and I think their dogs. On the other hand the T-3 Tip flex is a very fine rod, that actually feels like it has more touch than the mid'flexes because the tip is softer.
