Hey everbody! Been away four the summer. Nothing but fishing the whole time!

One day I caught over 100 fish. They were all browns except for one rainbow. It was a blast. The biggest fish was just over twenty inches. I would never have dreamed this stream had browns that size. I didn't even have to change flies or anything. I just kept using the same fly and it was doll ragged at the end of the day. All the other fishermen kept asking me what I was using. It wasn't anything special, just a regular old Prince Nymph. They all kept telling me I lived a charmed life or something because they couldn't catch them like I was. I finally gave a guy my rod and said try it. I'll try yours. Boy was he shocked to find out I could catch fish with his gear just as well as i was with my own. He still couldn't catch a fish! That just goes to prove that it's the fisherman not the gear.

Well, I did this throughout the summer. It was so much fun. I had guys following me around trying to see what I was doing different.

My uncle always told me I could catch fish in the gutter after a rainstorm or in a toilet. I believe him now. It was fanatastic! Can't wait until next summer!!!

See you boys on the stream next summer. Can't wait to catch trouties again!

My uncle told me that the real test of my fly fishing abilities would come with this cold weather.

I went out to the local River to give my new nymph pattern a test ride. Ice had started to form around the edges of the river where I was fishing. I didn't want to freeze so I didn't wade at all. I put on some long johns, a pair of Levis and then some old neoprene waders. I stayed warm the whole two hours I was there.

I cast up into a ripple and let the fly sink down into a deep hole. This big wame upand started to follow my fly. I actually watched it open its mouth and suck the fly in. I jerked back like one of those bass anglers on saturday morning T.V. and nailed that sucker right in the lip. He twisted and pulled but I got him. I'm going to smoke him in my little smoker if he'll fit. I caught 32 whites in two hours and I caught two browns and a purple rainbow. I used the samr fly the whole time. It rocks dudes. My ears were the only thing that got cold. Is whites fishing always this good or am I just as good at catching whites as I am trouties?

I would be willing to teach any of you lesser anglers my secrets at any time. I love to share what I know about fly fishing. If any guides who are struggling at getting people into fish want some help just let me know. I think this is what fly fishing is about. I just want to share all me knowledge with you guys . I'm not really singing my own praises. I just catch fish wherever I go. My uncle just shakes his head. So if you want some help just let me know. I know some of you guide on the Provo and can really struggle down there. The last time I went down I caught over a hundred brown trout and only moved about 100 yards of water.

Trout are my specialty. I can catch them really good. I had one guy ask me where I catch all my trout and I said in the lip! Ha Ha! I have caught some on the skin mostly when I use a san wan worm!

Catch them all over some days.

Well, I'm off to the river again. Smoked whitefish are gooooooood! My friend eats them like candy. I'm going to get him some.

Thanks for putting the report and story section up. I knew it will make this site more popular in the future.

Best catches to you my friends.
