ON off switches

I would like to put an on off switch on my poontoon kick boat.I know some of you have them,what I would like to know is how heavy a amp switch I need and if you know where is the best place is to buy one. I have looked at the auto parts stores but they seem like they wouldn;tbe heavy enough thanks

You would be surprised at the size switch you can get away with. I bougth mine at radio shack. Tell them what you're doing they will show you the switches.

If you want to wire it let me know because I bought WAY too much wire and I have at least a hundred feet of it.

Another option if you are crazy like me is to take the whole motor head off and attatch it below your oar mount. I like it no more bending around to turn it on off or adjusting speed. Just another idea for you to think about.
