Aloha, I just got a T&t 8wt and a tibor reel form a friend and tried it out today. Got a nice 3 foot barracuda and a bunch of small papio. One was large enough to keep for dinner. The Thomas and Thomas rod works great and I can't wait to get into some big boys with this new reel, what an awesome drag system. The surf was about 4-6 feet and glassy, so I got some nice barrels in the morning. The fish dinner was pretty tasty also. Laterz, Mems.

BTW, it's perfect BWO weather here right now. Overcast, threatening drizzle, possibly a few flakes, edging on cold.
