Deer Hair Frog

I know it is way past my abilites right now, but I would like to work towards being able to tie a deer hair frog fly.... just because I think they look xtra kewl.

Any links/recipes/tips?

Sounds like fun. I am not very good with deer hair. So, can't be of much help. I would say, make sure you have some nice sharp scissors and also practice by tying up some bullethead patterns like muddlers and hoppers. I think that tying good flies with deer hair takes lots of practice more than anything else.

Maybe we'll have to pool our ig'nurnse, get together sometime, and tie some on...
