Ruby Marsh?

Any body out there in UOTF land ever heard of this. Its out by
Elko, NV. I read somewhere, sometime of large fish here. Any
info would be great.

I remember seeing a marsh south of Wells Nevada. It was towards the Ruby Mountains. Was out looking for coyotes. My Nevada atlas shows it as part marsh part lake and lists it in the fishing section says it has bass, brook, brown and tiger trout. Can't help you with the size o fish. Looks like you head south out of Wells, turn right on road 229 and follow it along the base of the mountains. Looks to be in the middle of nowhere. Just my kind-o-place!

There are some extremely large Rainbows out there, but they are also extremely difficult to catch. When I have fished it, I have concentrated on the bass and bluegill...lot more fun and less frustrating.....but have been fortunate to hook a couple of hogs, when fishing for trout....
