Did you notice the 'small stream rod' he puts together? Wish I was in the market for one as he uses the right kind of blank; guess he knows his apples.

Small streams often require casting in/into tunnels of foliage and a short rod is needed. A quick short rod is even better as it keeps your loop tight which reduces hang-ups and they can handle heavier line easier.

Well, maybe a guy needs a backup. I have a spare tire for the truck don't I.
