Does anyone know of, or intend to teach, a rod building class this fall/winter. I'm looking to pick up a 3wt sometime in the next 6 months and might as well build it if I have the chance.
I'm not good enough yet to know "quality" when I cast it :)

Check with Greg at Lone Peak. Last I heard they were planning on starting up some rod building classes. He may be waiting for enough people to express interest to start one up. Worth giving him a call.

We could probably get Chris to teach another class this winter since he has so much time on his hands now. :-) He's done a few uotfly classes the past few years and they've been great.

I received an e-mail from Greg and they are having several classes this fall/winter. I believe they charge about $150 which includes all the components and the class. If you have your own components it is approximately half of that. You may want to check with Lone Peak to see if they will have the type of blanks you want. I believe they carry Pak Bay but am not sure if they will carry any of the "name brand" blanks. Just do a search under Lone Peak to get his phone number.

I would be happy to do the class again.
Jason can you look up the old threads to list needs?
