There is a fly tying show on PBS originating in Missouri called "The Tying Bench" featuring Mark Van Patten. The show is trying to go national and it is a good show. You can go to their website at www.thetyingbench.com and take a look. I have seen the show and Mark does a good job.

If you like what you see, click on the button to find your local PBS station and request that they carry the show. Nothing in it for me but some good fly tying information! See ya!

You can catch this show every Saturday @ 6:30 am on KUED Channel 7. It's a pretty good show, I caught last weeks about fishing for carp in a river that was pretty cool. This show is way better than good Ol' Doug Miller.

The New Flyfisher is a great show and it is aired on Saturday mornings at 6:30 AM but it is not the same show as "The Tying Bench." As the name implies, The Tying Bench is focused on fly tying though there is a segment in each show about other things involving fly fishing. Just to clairify things.

Presently, to my knowledge, The Tying Bench is not aired in Utah. But if you would like for it to be aired, go to www.thetyingbench.com and click on the button to request that your local PBS affiliate carry the show.

Again, nothing in it for me but it's a good show about fly tying. Adios!
