I came across a 2003 Year-End Fishery Drought Impacts Summary
from Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks but have not figured out a way to attach it here and it is too big to put the whole thing in as text. If anyone is interested in seeing it, email me and Ill send it to you. Be warned, it is as depressing as you might expect.

Can you post the link to it? How big is it? I am interested in seeing it but my email size is limited.

What makes it depressing?

If it is because fish are dying, then forward the Utah DWR information to them. It will put a smile on their faces knowing that the fish will now be bigger cause there aint as many. By golly, when is the rest of the biological, hypothetical, calculating fisheries managers in the other states of the union going to see how brilliant our DWR theories are?

RAW, you left out Wyoming in your rant...they are saying that the drought has increased fish sizes in their state too! Read the following link if you need to...

I fish another Idaho pond with kokanee that over the past 3 seasons has seen numbers drop to probably half but average size go from 12" to around 17". It has absolutely killed the rainbow population though.
