Just wondering if anybody has fished these waters lately and what type of trout are found there. what techniques and so on.

both have some browns and are stocked with rainbows. Occasionally, someone will pull out a decent brown that has overwintered but 90% of what you'll catch are little planter bows.

Heading toward the rocks on the east or south of Grantsville and fishing 5-15 ft. coming out of the rocks (float tube) is what has worked best for me.

Vernon is getting too crowded and has gotten too low too many times to have many good fish left, but some can still be found on the deep (North) end. It is a total kick in the pants to fish a dry when the Mormon Crickets are forming (major :) flotillas though.

I've heard that browns go up the streams at both places to spawn but have never seen any in there...
