Can Anyone Tell Me Where I Could Fish In Southern Idaho Near Utah Border, Brigham City For Some Good Trout In A Few Weeks. I Will Be Up In Brigham The Last Week Of August And Wanted To Venture Into Lower Idaho For A Couple Of Days. All I Do Is Catch And Release. Thanks For Your Help.

Do you know what dates? Stillwater or rivers?

I would also like some info. I will be staying at Bear Lake next week (on the Idaho side) and would like to fish some other rivers. I fished the Logan Thursday and Friday and had a ball, but would like to try some different rivers/streams that are somewhat close.

I would like to fish in either Utah or Idaho, but close to Bear Lake. I may have a first time fly fisher with me, so if anybody knows of some places to get him some fish, it would be appreciated. Preferably rivers/streams.

Thanks

I would suggest the Bear River below Oneida dam. Especially if you're taking an beginner. It would be about a 30 to 45 minute drive from the area you described on the lake. Email me for more specifics. chance7210@excite.com

Your first post you said Southern Idaho, your second post reads Southern Utah.... Is it still Idaho or have you changed your plans?

I would say try another place than southern Idaho, it is not the best place to fish.

The drought has hurt So. Idaho the last couple of years as it has every where.
There are still a couple of gems though that are still fishing well. As a whole it is much better than No. Utah.
