Currant Creek info???

Has anyone out there been to CC lately? I'm thinking of heading up there this Sunday or the following Weds. and was wondering how things are up there. If you are willing to share some info please send me an email and I willl share with you where I've been fishing.

like strawberry, cc had a bad winter kill plus the beavers have gone bizzerk. should be better next year. i think the weber or ogden is a better bet.....

I was there July 8-11. There are fish in the river, but most are pretty small planters. I had some luck in the late evening when a hatch started. BWO in the slow water below the dam worked well. The biggest fish I caught was a fourteen inch Brown. All the fish I caught were cutts and browns.

...have all the nice small waters had a winter kill or just where you fish???...sounds kinda fishy to me...I've been to both of these waters earlier this year and have done fine...I was just looking for current info.(hoppers out?)

As far as the Weber and Ogden...been there, done that...many of times. Just looking for fresh water to hit. Weber is flowing high anyway and crowded in the good spots up higher, and they shut the water off on the Ogden the other day in anticipation of opening the gates in the next week or so.
