can anyone tell me alittle about daniels res. i fish mantua for the last few years and have caught alot of nice trout and have meet people that tell me that my style of fishing would be great there and i should realy fish daniels. i have family in brigham city. how far is daniels from brigham city. i understand you must have a float tub to fish there effectively and my friends say they do alot of midgeing. is the lake a high elevation lake in the mountains. can it be fished during the hot summer months? can anyone give me some info? thanks.

It' north out of Malad. Look it up on a map, it's a twisting road for about 18 miles out of Malad. Fishing is decent, at times midging is the ticket, but usually it is not during the summer. It is not a high mountain lake- it really isn't much as far a scenery goes at all. Really pretty ugly when it comes to that. Buggers, scuds, deep in the summer, well deep depends on how much water is left.

Barbless hooks and your fish has to be over 20 inches to keep. On the drive out you will think you are lost you will need to just keep driving and sooner or later you will find it.
