I was in Jackson this weekend and couldn't help notice how good the Snake looked between Jackson and Alpine Junction. I saw one guy pop over the gaurd-rail with some nice lookin fish. The water is running pretty low right now and looked to be very crossable in a lot of areas. If I would have known...

Famous last words, I've said that many times myself.

not open until April--------- when the run off is just right----- big cutts and nice macs from West table down about 1/2 mile or so- just b4 it drops off into deep deep water. Flash streamers. Used to row up in a canoe and fish the 4 fot deep area after the last set of rapids and b4 the big drop-off. Now its float down in the toon.

Graycliff--- how was the snow along the river?? Could you drive down into West Table?? Maybe I could just get at the top and ride the toon down over the snow to the river. (0: That last 12 feet could be a killer.

It looked like the snow was still deep in places. The vehicle access was still blocked, the guy I saw with the fish had some snowshoes with him. It would definately be worth a trip.
