I was just wondering what is good to use on the ogden river and weber river?
I am a new flyfisher and I need to know what to use.

Welcome to the sport and the forum! I assume your starting out dry fly fishing? I certainly would. Two good flies to start out with this time of year are the Elk Hair Caddis, and the Adams sizes 14-16. These two patterns with get you into fish on just about any river. You'll probably want a good hopper pattern too (Dave's or Joe's hopper) size 8-10.....

I will get you a description of a red blazer and where it will be and just find the guy that is driving and fish right next to him use his flies etc....
. . .and bring about $250.00 to tip him. He's an excellent fishing partner. Doesn't talk a lot. Just mumbles to himself; something like "Nothing wrong with quiet. Nothing wrong with quiet."
