Banquet success

Banquet was a great success, and I want to thank all of the great members and friends of Weber Basin Anglers Chapter of Trout Unlimited for supporting us with our fund raiser banquet. Crowd was not real big but they had deep pockets and dug right in to help us raise the funds needed for the project we were working for. I would also like to thank my officiers and chair persons for their hard work. With out them it would have not been possible. Next year it will be bigger and better. Prizes were unbelieveable with lots of door prizes that just about everybody got one. I am looking forward to next years banquet, and hope more of you will come out a join us. Dennis Breer from Trout Creek Flies came and did a presentation on the Green which was a lot of fun and at the last Chris Thomas came a talked about the restoration project on Spawn Creek. What a great night! Thanks again to all!

I agree with Reggie, the night was a success. Thanks to all of those who put in efforts to make it happen. I thought the turnout was decent for a first time event.

I did feel a bit out of place during the auction, but I appreciate those affluent people who are willing to bid on items to help fund the organization. Maybe some day I'll be able to dig down into my pocket and pull out a wad of cash. Until then, I hope TU will hang on to the "poor" grassroots guys like me. I'll help out when and where I can.

Thanks to Steve and Jarvis for inviting me to sit at their table. That was nice!

Reggie is doing a great job as President and Bruce as V.P. Thanks guys.

Now, where did I put those large stonefly dries? I'm heading fishing!
