I am literally having a Callabaetis hatch at my house right now. I have some vialed up and these photos are hot off the press as of 5:15pm.
Males and Females. I am gonna try some other shots tonight.

You ought to take a series of shots and write an article for Fly Fisherman. Then we could all say we know ya!
Seriously, have you ever given it any thought. A set of your pictures would be more informative than most of the articles I've seen there. (Course I haven't subscribed for a few years but ...)

Yes Steelies. Midflight. The kick the bucket not long after mating, and the females pass on after laying their eggs. Since it happens in flight it's tough to shoot....

WAIT! Is a Callabaetis a new species? Looks similar to the callibaetis. :-)
