April the 22nd, Thursday - Status of the Provo River Management, Richard Hepworth, Utah Division of Wildlife Resources -
There has been intense controversy regarding the management of the Provo. Richard Hepworth will present the latest findings from surveys conducted on both the Middle and Lower Sections of the Provo River. These data help explain the DWR's concern regarding the status of the river. He is going to have the latest information from last fall’s electro shocking in comparison to past surveys. He will also provide further details on the Division of Wildlife Resources plan to monitor this important fishery. The meeting will be at 7:00 PM at the Salt Lake County Fish and Game Association meeting house. For information on how to get to the clubhouse please visit the stonefly Society’s website at http://www.stoneflysociety.org/streamteam.htm
