What can I say? When a good group of people get together, good things happen! Considering that there wasn't really an official plan for how everything was going to go down, I think that everything went really well and was a lot of fun. We all shot the breeze a bit, tied some flies, discussed the secret properties of the Yong Special and I even did a quick and ugly demo on how I tie the Gorge Burger Midge -- on a size 16 hook no less. I also got a chance to talk to everyone a bit.

FlyGirl, Cardiac, Junge, ollie, troutflys9, Jason, jim m., Ouzel, jccollier, Lowcountry, LIV2FSH -- you all kick ass! A truly cool group of people. Thanks for showing up! If I forgot anyone I'm sorry -- it's the Nyquil! I can't wait for next month.

This was a good time and it was great to meet everyone. A cool bunch of folks for sure! I'm sure these meetings will continue to get even better in the future.

Nyquil my arse. He tried to hide the Crown Royal from us all night long. No wonder he had to tie his GorgeBurger Midge on a size 2 streamer hook. Got to admit it looked good though. Other than that FlyGirl and I had a good time meeting everyone too.

I also had a good time. It was cool to finally put faces to names! I was presently suprised to see such a good turnout.

I would like to extend an invitation to any or all of you to come to High Country in Ogden for our first meeting next week, Wed. the 20th. It would be nice to chat and tie with all of you. If anybody needs directions, give me a shout.
