There is one for sale in West Point. Drive down 300 North to somewhere around 2500 West or so. If driving west, it is on the left hand side of the road. It has been there for a week or so now.

Vanilla,

I think you are confused. Your probably thinking of Don Willey. I'm not sure if he drives a jeep but if he does I'm sure it smells of fish!

Must it be a willy? What about a CJ?

I work for Auto Trader Magazine. Give me a holler or come by the shop and I can hook you up with a magazine to find one in. There are a few listed at present, it really depends on what you want to spend. Let me know.

1947 CJ-2A. Original flathead 4... would climb a tree but wouldn't go over 45 on the highway down hill with a tailwind (geared way too low) and the tranny always leaked, didn't matter how many time I resealed it (I worked in a tranny shop at the time). The old Willeys three speed used essentially the same seal kit as the old late 30s ford 3 speeds. It was a fun little ride, but was cold a sin with the soft top, heater cranked in the Idaho winter (this may have been due to all of the rust holes). I now have a 67 bronco with a fuelie 5.0. and np435. It will do 100+ and still climb trees.
