Looking for some Cortland 444 SL in and intermediate clear camo. I want something that will sink a little faster.

And so ......????
And so ......????
I'm a little confused about this question too.
The Clear Camo is a great line. Works real well on smaller ponds and lakes. It seems to sink a little more like a type II than an intermediate line. But, I'm not an expert on sink rates.
If you want a faster sinking line, then get a type III, IV, V, etc. Most of my stillwater fishing is either with a Type V or a Clear Camo.
Who does have a chart on this subject. Is there a link somewhere? I remember seeing one at some time with relative speeds list in amount of sink per second...

I am saying that I would like to purchase some if anyone wants to get rid of some.
On the other note, The line I just bought is a Interm. does this mean that it is going to be the slowest sinking. It does not state weather or not it is a type I or a type III ect.
Sorry to get you guy's so twisted up.

Intermediate is usually the slowest sinking line made (except for SA mastery GPX). I love to fish it in lakes that have lots of flats to be fished. I have an Airflo polyfuse intermediate, and it is one smooth momma. only $40 too. I like to have at least two types of sinking line with me. I crrently have a type 3 and an intermediate. I plan on getting a type 5 and 7. usually the higher the number the faster it sinks.
Cheech, what color is the Airflo Polyfuse line?

I have heard the Cortland 555 floating line that came out a couple years back is a good slow sinking line.

I have an extra 444 DT5 clear camo, new in the box, never opened that anyone can have who wants to pay a reasonable price for it.
