Does anyone know something about the bamboo rods by Elkhorn? I am trying to find a price for a Elkhorn "Wild Basin" 3 wt 6' 6" rod.
I put a message up on a list server I belong to so well see if there are any replys, I'll let you know. There website does not appear to have any info about bamboo rods. Is this a resale rod or something someone is trying to resell?

Thanks Norm, this is a rod someone is trying to resale.

Junge this is one of many not so favorable posts I found on these rods. Sounds like they are a production rod that new costs $300.00. Used, you would probably be lucky to sucker someone into buying it for $50.00. There is a lot of difference between quality crafted bamboo and imported sweat shop blanks. Thats why you'll see an original PH Young, or Payne rod go for $2000.00 on ebay, and your see junk go for $50.00. If your going to buy a bamboo rod save up till you can buy a quality rod.
