Ok, it is finally time for the March Madness Swap. Most of us had a great time last year, win or lose. There were a few exceptions whose pitiful performance was nothing short of embarrassing. Here are the details for this year:

Participants agree to tie 6 flies total. Flies are due before April 3rd.

1st place winner will receive 3 flies from each participant.
2nd place will receive 2 flies from each participant.
3rd place will receive 1 fly from each participant.

Round 2 - 2 pts + Seed
Round 3 - 4 pts + Seed
Round 4 - 8 pts + Seed
Round 5 - 16 pts + Seed
Round 6 - 32 pts + Seed

Tiebreaker is the total score of the final game.

Do we have to tie 6 of the same thing ? Here's what I cooked up, 3 astro midges (for 1st, 2nd and 3rd.), 2 of something else for first and second place and 1 other to the winner. (I haven't decided on my second and third flies.)

How do allow a single player to score 43 points? Especially when he has 28 at the half! Don't you make some changes during halftime to address this problem?

Good thing flies were riding on this or I may have actually picked the cougs to win.

It looks like they did make changes, because he only had 15 in the second half!!!!!!!! Classic Cleavland, Bigelow playing Mcnamara tough as nails and then he switches back to Hall (who is one hell of a defender I will say) and look what happens. Heaven forbid Cleavland ever do anything to help his team win a close one! Sorry, I've vented, back to fishing. Enjoy your trip this weekend fellas, let us know how it goes.

This was a rough weekend for my brackets. I got trashed- lost my national champ, 2 of my final four and 8 of my sweet sixteen.

I cant believe I'm still in 7th, you guys must be worse at picking than me :). In the other pool I'm in I went from 2nd to last over the weekend.

Johnny, I got your flies in the mail yesterday. Six nice looking EHC just waiting to be shipped out to the winners, but who will they be? First place is set, but second and third are up in the air. I predict that Derek, one of last year's winners, is quickly becoming a GT fan?
