Okay, this is my first time hosting a swap, but here goes.
I love June on the Green and want to see what patterns you guys have that are "Killer"
Here is the deal, I want to run this swap a little bit differently than some have been run in the past. I want to limit the swap to six people (five plus myself) but I still want all participants to tie up 12 flies. That way everyone will get two of each pattern. Here is my rationale: When I get new flies I like to try them out before I tie up a mess of them. So, if I have two flies, I can try one out on the river and if it produces I still have one left over to copy as my pattern. If I only have one fly and it starts producing, I usually fish it until it is dead and then have nothing left to use as a pattern to make more with.
So:
six people
12 flies
mailed to me by April 15
Mailed back to you before May 1
Send a self addressed stamped envelope so I can return your flies
attach your name and the name of your pattern to your flies
Tie you favorite pattern for use during the cicada hatch

I have never done the swap thing. Send me some info: on how, where, and numbers. I tie a cherenoyble variant, it rocks when the cicada's are hot, but I used it late fall and did really well. Shoot me an e-mail.

DSW and Trout 4X get back to me so I know if you are in or not, we would love to have you!
