I am sure it already has a name but nobody knows what it is. Here is the description....
Wrap Orange thread, to the bend tie on small mylar tinsel for a Shell back, dub lightly to double shank size light grey fine dubbing, dub to 1 eye width back from eye, pull mylar over dubbing and tie in.
I wasn't sure how to puntuate that sentance.
Anyway this is a bug that a guy on the water gave me. I cant find it at any of the stores so it must be unique. Anyway it was slaying fish last I used it. I am not going to tell you when because someone will call me names for fishing in weather that cold.
I fished it along with a rainbow warior and they both caught equal numbers.
I was just wondering if anyone has heard of that fly. If not, I will call it the "Orange "Kenneth." Once word of this fly gets out people on the water will ask you if you have any Kenneths in your box. Maybe the next time you're catching more than anyone around and they ask you what you're using you can say Kenneth. And confuse the heck out of them.
FlySmyth.
