I'm sure glad I went to Cheech's tying demo today at Riverdale Sportsman's. For those who couldn't make it, you missed a good one. I learned some new techniques, patterns and materials that will really contribute to my tying fun and pleasure, and I'm sure to my fish catching abilities both for warmwater and trout.

Thanks Cheech. We appreciate you coming up today. Your talents are awesome!

Thanks RAW. It means a lot coming froma guy who has his own book;) We had fun dreaming about open water with bass, and damselfly hatches. It was nice meeting you all.

My thanks as well Cheech, when I returned home, I found the web site for Arizona Fly Fishing >azflyfishing.com<, source for the "semi-seal" dubbing you demonstrated. Also other interesting products and tips.

I also enjoyed watching you tie and chating with you. It's always good to put faces to the names on this site. I got some great ideas in my brain!

You got me into my small bug mode again! I've been tying #32 Bunny Midges today, what an awesome fly!

I was looking forward to it all week but when it started snowing I thought I had better stay home this time. My loss.

George, Dennis Brakke (80 grit's guru) at the Fly desk has the simi-seal.

This way if you're down in WV you can get some. Or maybe Dennis will mail it to you. Give him a call
p.s. Sorry we didn't make it up there Cheech. Jason gave a stellar performance on his Entomology 101 yesterday. It looked like over 30 people easily. Good job Jason.
p.p.s. the donut vacumn got skunked.

Good luck this coming week with the little one. I enjoyed your flies and techniques. Sorry I had to run off, my wife was expecting me home at noon, and I had the 4wd, so she was stuck at home with the crying baby....

yep, it was a good presentation, you shoulda brought your rod up and fished the Webe' with me. Once I got home I had to paint, you could have gotten me out of it you know.

Those new reel seats are sweet also, is that one you showed me going on any rod?
