I'll squeeze you in Joshua but that's all. I'll be in contact for addresses by email from this site so I hope you are hooked up. Fred, I'd have to look around for yours. If I can't find it I'll let you know. Again, the rule is you must give them a fair try and report back. Just for fun. I'm not trying to sell anything or promote my style.

Not so fast guys. If you look at Mike's photo, the critter in question, it has gills on top of the abdomen. The Rychophyla have no abdominal gills....
http://www.thomasames.com/insects/caddis/rhyalarv.htm
But I could be wrong (The one's I've seen don't have gills....)

As written by Jim Schollmeyer
"Green rock worms are free-living caddis larva,...The caddis larva have small gills and require cold, oxygen rich waters."
I remeber seeing alot of these on the logan last year. They seem a little greener in person, but im sure they come in all shades of green.
Raw you are awsome. I cant wait to see these puppies. last year i tried to find a good pattern to match had decent succes withgreencrystal flash caddis larva.

There are so many (100's) species of Rhyacophila. Merritt and Cummins in their book say this about Rhyacophila species: "Tufts of gills absent or not as dense or not on as many abdominal segments....final instar larva less than 30 mm long."
Here's a link to Rhyacophila dorsalis and it has gills similar to the one pictured above.

Family Corydalidae Genus Orohermes : aren't these dobsonflies? Not caddis?
Lonnie, not trying to show you up or anything, but I think I gotcha! Bring it on. :-)

Dobsonflies = Coridalus cornudus. Same genera though. I said I thought my original guess was wrong. I won't miss them again. I think this is a case of "moving west" burning me.....
