Why donate to UtahOTF?
Very simply, keeping UtahOTF up and running costs money. When the site was considerably smaller, the costs involved with hosting and server maintenance were not an issue. Suffice it to say that UtahOTF has grown substantially over the years and with that growth has come an increase in the costs associated with maintaining and hosting the site. Those costs have been elevated to a level where it is necessary to solicit users for donations.
Who should donate to UtahOTF?
If you feel like UtahOTF is a valuable resource for learning about fly fishing, fly tying or local Utah waters then please consider donating. If you value the associations and friends that you've formed as a result of UtahOTF, please consider donating. If you look at UtahOTF on a regular basis, if only for entertainment value or to escape work, we would also ask that you please consider donating.
What sort of donation is UtahOTF looking for?
As you are in fact making a donation, please give as much as you feel comfortable giving. The minimum donation to achieve "UtahOTF Contributor" status is currently $15. Some UtahOTF users will no doubt feel that they derive much more than $15 worth of enjoyment out of UtahOTF per year. For suggested amounts, please see:

If you wish to donate in excess of $30, we will of course be more than happy to accommodate you.
How do I donate to UtahOTF?
You can donate to UtahOTF using credit cards via PayPal or by mailing conventional checks or cash.
- PayPal: When logged in at UtahOTF, please access the "User CP." On the lower left you will see the "Paid Subscriptions" link. Click on it and you will be presented with the different options for donation. Alternately, use this link:

We will be notified of your successful PayPal payment. After we receive that notification you can generally expect to have "UtahOTF Contributor" status within 24 hours in most cases.
- Check / Cash: If you would like to donate using cash or check, please make your checks payable to:

Please be sure that the amount of your donation matches one of the amounts listed here:

or exceeds $30. While I would generally advise *against* sending cash through the mail, the choice is yours. We will not be held accountable for lost cash! What does a donation to UtahOTF do for you?
A donation to UtahOTF gives you the knowledge that you're doing something to help keep UtahOTF the great local fly fishing resource that it is! If that's not enough to make you feel all warm and fuzzy, contributors also currently have the additional benefits of:
- private messaging
- access to private forums
- the ability to post photos
The larger your donation, the larger your allocated storage space for private messages and photo posting.
