It was mentioned on another website (fishwest) that carpman's fly the rainbow warrior is in the new issue of the Cabela's catalog. Do they have to get permission from him to sell that pattern? Thanks for your time.

They are just buying it from Umpqua. It is a a patern that they have an agreement to tie and sell.

I'm going to see him later today, so maybe I'll ask.

Yes, Cabelas has Umpqua's permission to sell it. Umpqua sells it to them. Umpqua also sells flies to LL bean, and Orvis.......

Flash over red thread for the body. Thorax is rainbow sow scud dubbing. TMC 2457 hook. Bead can be silver or pearl glass....
