Fly Tying Lamp

For Christmas I wanted a magnifying lamp for my fly tying station. My station sits on a countertop against the wall. I purchased a Lite Source lamp at Sportsman's Warehouse that has a large boom to move the light and lens where needed. The problem is that the boom needs about a foot of space behind the desk to bend. It won't fit and so I am going to take it back.

I am looking for a magnifying lamp with a fluorescent bulb (so it won't get hot) that will work with close to a zero clearance so I can place the base next to a wall. Does anyone have any suggestions on a brand and model?

Check out the craft store. They sell a lamp that "Beaders/Crafters" use that is great for what you need. Nightfish brought his up to the UOTF Henry's Fork trip and it was really nice.
