As of most of you do, I keep all of my FF magazines and refer back to them occassionally. I've got some from 1997. Anyway, I was looking through the 1999 Summer issue of Fly Fishing and Tying Journal and checking out the 'Patent Patterns' contest page. I just happened to notice Lance won the Mayfly nymph category for this issue with a PMD Nymph. So Lance, can you tell us more about this pattern and how does it fish? I'm more curious about the eyes you put on that because they do seem a little big. Maybe you could post the recipe and instructions. BTW, a late congrats.
