Home for the weekend and gotta fish before going back...Anybody been up ?? Snow ?? How much ?? Can we still launch our toons ??

Doug, I think I'm going to fish it on Friday and Saturday if I can find someone to go up wiith me. If you end up going give me a call or e-mail me through the site. I would love to meet up with you for a day of fishing. Cell: 830-5618.

We are back and it was a beutiful day. One word for the day, FISH ON. I will send e-mails to those who have requeted a fishing report so I'm not HOT SPOTTING.

By the way, tons of open water. We fished just off the boat ramp near Renegade. You will need a 4X4 to access this area. The snow was 10 inches deep on the raods and mainly snow packed most of the way in. The water temp. was 35 degreesThe bays and shore lines have 5-10 feet of ice forming and some bays are frozen. This might be the last week or two before it becomes hard water.

We had clear skies and very little wind while there. The air temp. was between 31 degrees at 11:00 AM and 41 degrees when we left. It was an incredible day for stillwater casting. ha ha ha ha ha ....

I heading back very soon. Maybe this Friday if anyone wants to meet up there. fishn (Herb)

Yessir! Friday and maybe Sunday too. I've got a new trolling motor I want to try out before the ice. Do you want to ride up again?

I noticed the same thing when Doug and I were there a couple weeks ago. I missed a bunch before I started to slow down. Doug was on it the whole time.........I'll call you if I go Friday.

If anyone is interested in fishing at the Berry this Friday let's plan an informal get together. Gotfish and myself will be up there with a couple friends. The weather should be great between now and Sunday. If any of you are interested in fishing let us know and we will look for you.

We plan on getting there around 10:00 AM.

I would love to go friday! but I have a seminar on Friday and Saturday. If there is still open water next Friday I plan on going then. Let me know how it fished Friday.

We really missed you Friday at Strawberry. If there is still open water on this Friday and you think you want to go, let me know. Maybe I can get the day off :-). The fishing was good and the company was even better. There were 12 people that ended showing up that day for some fishing. As always, Jeff Brooks really spanked the fish all day long. It seemed like ever other minute I heard, "I have another one on". His ability to catch fish is amazing. It was fun to have that many guys fishing together ripping lip.

With regards to the fly tie at Lone Peak, I'm not sure? I haven't heard anything about it. I think we might want to wait until next month before we hold another meeting. With Christmas so close I think we would have a hard time getting people to show up.

I will let you know when we decide to meet for some fly tying.
