Lamiglass Brush Creek 4 pc.

I am shocked and dismayed that there are no posts on this board about the Lamiglass Brush Creek. I intend to rectify the situation.
I own and have been fishing for 1 season a 6 pc. 7 1/2 ft. 3 wt. Lamiglass Brush Creek. Built it from a blank because Lamiglass uses cheap components. It absolutely rules. It is a very, VERY slow action, but fishes great. The number of sections does something to stiffen him up. It is stiffer than the Winston Stalker, though I wait breathlessly for the new Winston fiberglasses. The rod casts exceptionally well in the 5-30 ft. range, though you may have to wait 2 minutes to begin your forward cast on a 30 footer. It absolutely excels at throwing dries with pinpoint accuracy and presenting them delicately. The best part is hooking up. Fiberglass is very soft and really transmits the fight of a fish well. It is almost electric. Doesn't cast heavy flies well, but hey, he's a three weight, what do you expect? I say he because his name is Odysseu Polumache. It from the Iliad...look it up.

4 years later, things haven't changed. Except I'm using the Lami 3 pc. 8' 5w.A little bigger than Kenny's 3w/
From Daniels' fish to the 'berry pigs. I've wrassled big fish and brought them in. I think the sensitivity is the factor in detecting strikes with this yellow rod.
It love streams too. Try one. You might like it.
