How's the lower going these days? I'm headed there Saturday.

Mossy, mossy mossy. Other than that, the fishing has been a little slower. I would expect it to pick up a bit with some cooler temps. Jason B would be the guy to ask since he's been out more than I have lately, I'd guess.

The Lower has started to pick up some. It is still hard to fish but you can manage 5-6 and hour. The moss is breaking up and starting to clear out, but there is still lots there. I have found that the best way to fish right now is to focus on the water where the moss has not been able to get a hold. You will find areas where there is a line of moss and on the otherside its pretty clear. I also have found that if you fish the parts that are very fast and very deep you will have some success. When fishing that deep water i have been using three or four weights to get it down there deep.
Patterns that have produced well for me have been tan emergers. Sows have produced a few but very small mayflys (#20) tend to be the most productive. But throw a 18 long shank sow with a small dropper mayfly.
Hope that helps.

I caught a 17''+ either brown or cutt (can't remember) on a weighted egg sucking leach at the wide section three turnoffs upstream from the sundance turnoff. It's the part with the sandbar in the middle. I always fish streamers in the that particular section and have always had success. Little moss on either side of the sandbar.
