splake/lake trout

I have been fishing Fish Lake quite a lot of late and doing fairly well....if anyone is interested in earning some tough points on the challenge, let me know and I could probably hook you up with a good chance at both a splake and a lake trout. I have been seeing some really big ones too (20 plus pounds)...

I heard that there was a big Brown caught last week. Maybe 15lbs or so? You hear about it?

Were you up there this weekend?? I was there on Saturday. Unfortunately I did not share your success. How many points for lousy perch?

Mr. Loopy, I looked for you, but I guess I got up there too late...I didn't start fishing until about 8:00pm. In fact, on Friday the fishing didn't pick up for me until about 11:00pm. On Saturday, I started catching fish about 9:00pm. The deer hunt really had the people out this weekend...Twin Creeks was packed with people until about 10:00pm on Saturday.

Anyways, where did you fish? I would say that perch do count for something...in fact, if your family was with you, you should have cut the perch up and used it for bait. Your kids would have loved catching the splake. On Friday night, I bait fished for about an hour and the splake were biting really regularly.

I looked for you too. Do you drive a white Dodge pick-up. That's what your bro. told me to look for. Anyway, I fished Twin Creeks but up until about 5:30 only. I was going to head out after it got dark but plans changed a bit. Had I known you were going to be there for sure, I would have hooked up with you for some nighttime fishing.

We were staying in a cabin right across the street from the marina. I could see the marina easily out the front window.

Yeah, you should have come out...I was there until about 10:00 on Saturday night...it would have been more fun with a partner.
