Well, we are 2/3 the way through the year, how is everybodies list looking? I'm sitting at 37 pts after just checking tiger trout off the list.

Im sticking with what I know, I have not added up the numbers yet but none the less still having an awesome summer.
Caught a 24" 7 lb Rainbow in AK, along with a really nice grayling.
We also caught all 5 species of salmon (I nailed all five in the same day). Caught my first steelhead on a fly. Along with my first bass ever plus it was on a flyrod. I no longer live in Utah so the fishing has changed a little bit. Oh yeah and a nice Char is on my list too.
You can add that up or just take my word for it that its a good summer!

I am going to end up at 57 points...I caught my last species of the year at Newcastle Reservoir, a smallmouth. Right now, my next target species will be a splake and lake trout and I have already received my points for them.

I added smallmouth and striper this weekend at Powell, putting me at 28. Stef got a smallmouth but passed on the stripers in leiu of spiritual enlightenment, and stands at 20. She may pass me though, and we need a ruling from the board for a catch of hers at Willard....how many points for Gizzard Shad??

Yesterday at Willard I caught some carp, a smallmouth, wipers (about 5 6 inchers), and a channel cat. A rather impressive point day for me!
Carpman- I now know fully why you go after them!!! I just close my eyes when I'm taking the hook out and it's perfect!!! ha ha

HMMMMMM, I think I need to see some photos!
Going brain dead. Where is the link that shows the point schedule?
I say give Steph 5 points for the Gizzard and maybe a couple more for the spiritual enlightenment?

I put the tape to the biggest one, and was quite excited when I realized I had tied carpman for the C&R record (was reading the proc that morning) - then I was pissed when I realized my trusty little disposable camera was out of film - then relieved to learn later that someone else beat the record a few months ago, so all my emotions were in vain....nice fish though.

All I need is a campfire burning to listen to your stories. Tell me another before I go to bed. LOL

You are supposed to be at a campfire right now. I thought you were in the uintas? Don't tell me your camping at an internet cafe just so you can be near your UOTF? Or did you actually kill something and come home? Or did you just puss out? And BTW, if I were going to lie to you, I would stay simple and keep my lies small, I've seen you fish and it shouldn't take much of a story to impress you...........

We are staying in a Hotel and making the daily trip. I need to stay caught up on things. Fishing has been a blast!
