Newbie Fly Swap

This would be a fly swap for people who havent been in a swap yet to get there feet wet in the fun of fly swaps. I think it would be any fly you tie well and we will do a dozen people if anybody is intrested just say so. The noobie fly swap makes it so you dont have to be worry about if your flies are adequate enough for other tiers that have been swaping for years.were all going to be new to Fly swaps so will need to figure out how to get flies to people if people want to do it.

This is six so far looking for more but if not we cant get any by Monday then will stick with this list still do twelve and we will get two each. Rules are any fly you tie good. They will be due two weeks from tomorrow if you need more time than that its ok but lets try to hit that day. Ill figure out how to get them to you guys soon lets post what flys we are going to do so we dont get all the same fly. Need questions awsnered,.... well email me and ill try to figure it out, I’m new too this to but you can start tying because you will tie twelve flies no matter what happens.

looks like we will only have to tye 9 if everybody is still in havent heard from tshuntin yet on a confermation and itchys wasnt confirmed for the rest of you tye up ten and we will take one more person if needed. tye one pattern we have enough were we dont have to do two flies each it doesnt look like we have any repeat patterns so we should be fine. Who knows the best way to get the flies to the other people i think a group meeting will be out of the question never done this before how does mail sound? I get kicked out of my place on the 8 of agust so i would like the due date to be the 1st of august but if you cant get that done we will find away like send them to my brothers and i can pick them up there or somenthing talk to me to found out how we want to exchange thanks Josh Hodges

Ok, I'm in, I'll let you know later what I'm going to tie, but count me in for sure. I wouldn't count on everyone having them in before Aug. 8, but cheech isn't in this one so we might be ok. I would come up with a few rules for the swap and post them, ask the swap nazi Trout4x for some suggestions.

Just seeing How everyone is coming along. I recived Jesse's Flys and I have recived Kurts flys let me tell you kurt's patern catches fish. I had an 16-18 inch brown on and was just playing it to have a litle fun with about ten more feet to landing it it shook off :( the improved x caddis is now my favorit caddis fly it will get tied on before any caddis pattern i have now. Thanks Kurt. I have also recived messages that your flys arre being sent out i think two. Jaymorr and Flying Bryan. IF ANYONE NEEDS THE ADRESS TO SEND THEM TO EITHER POST OR EMAIL ME. IM MOVING IN A WEEK AND A HALF SO IM GOING TO HAVE YOU EMAIL THEM TO MY BROTHER FROM NO ON. Just want to make sure no one forgot about the swap and would like to have it done soon.

Sorry guys I was supposed to put mine in the mail Thursday and I didnt make it to the post office.

I have them done and in a envelope to send you today. I wished I could just hand them to you on Friday night since I am going to be up in Logan. At any rate they are on the way. Sorry for the couple day delay. On the plus side, I did fish those days. I hit Trial Lake, Washington Lake, Upper Provo Bridge in the Uintahs and it was great.

You ought to hang tight! Jason and I spoke today at lunch about a really cool swap/contest that I will host as we get closer to the Softhackle/wetflie swap deadline.

I am still working on the Prize info for this swap but it will be nice. ;)
