Because northern pike are not listed on the challenge, I am counting them the same as musky (I don't care what the rules are!)...therefore, I am feeling mighty good about my 46 points!

Rainbow--1 point
Cutt--1 point
Brook--2 points
Splake-- 6 points (Fish Lake)
Tiger trout--6 points (UM Creek)
Lake trout--7 points (Fish Lake)
Perch--3 points (Fish Lake)
Bluegill--2 points (Utah Lake)
White bass--4 points (Utah Lake)
Catfish--6 points (Utah Lake)
Northern pike--10 points (Redmond Reservoir)

With the perch I caught at Fish Lake, my total is now up to 49 points...but, unless I go after largemouth or smallmouth, I won't get any higher.

Of course you will go after Large and small mouths... and wipers, and carp...etc. Come on!

very generous, if Musky were listed at ten (10) points and the Northern Pike not listed at all to give the full 10 points for the smaller cousin is a bit much.

Musky are larger and do not eat as foten as the Pike, therefore it is easier to catch a pike than a Musky. That is why the Musky is called the fish of ten thousand casts.

I think seven (7) ponits is more fitting. Afterall there are a number of fish not on the list would it be fitting for someone like Moke who has saltwater available to give himself whatever points for any number of species not on the list.

And you only get 4 points for any pickeral. :-) :-)
