The son in laws dad is an everyother weekend Green guy. He was up this last weekend in the snow storm ( he said blizzard).
Said it was the best 2 days he's had in 2 years. (thirty to thirtyfive fish per day) Almost had the river to himself.

It was only his second time on his new bucks extreme and he got to go through Mother in law backwards with a fish on. Said he made it without losing the fish. Sounds good even in a blizzard.

It was good for me because he was using brown and tan chernobyls and some small beetles that I tied for him.

yea? well how about sharing some pic's of the fly's & photo's??? :)

I had a day just like that on the north platte... killer day, except me & my brothers where the only ones catching like that I noticed. we were both fishing the same hole for 3 hours (I hit it an hour & a half before my brother started fishing the other side).

we were nymph fishing... I lost count when I landed 12, and I landed 20+... these were small bugs so I was loosing more then I was landing, and I had 45-50 (or more) on.

cold, terrible wind, but killer fishing! it's, of course, always fun seeing the pelicans up there too.
