The last time we met we had three people show up. I don't know if it was a bad time or not. I hope this will be a more convenient time for every one. The meeting is at High Country Fly Fishers in So. Ogden. Let me know if you plan to be there.

I'm glad it's on a wednesday. I have been meaning to head up there to get some popper heads. Do you realize you are the only significant supplier of styrofoam popper heads in the utah valley.
I'm 75% positive I'll be there.

Ok, I'll be there, I'll probably show up late because I work late. I don't know if you've picked a topic but I'd like to be shown smoe of the wiper patterns you talk about. See you there!

I'm no longer affiliated with High Country, so we have moved the meeting to my basement. The address is 1169 North 1000 West in Clinton, Ut. The time is 6:30 pm.

What happened? I was just in there a couple weeks ago!
I hope the business is ok.
I don't know the whole situation of why Lowcountry is not at High Country but it smells of another bad move by the owner. How many of us went there just because of the friendliness that Steve showed to everyone? He was always willing to help. He tried to promote that store more than the owner ever did. I think he is a lot more knowledgeable on fly fishing than the owner. The owner just thought everyone was in there to rip something off. When the owner was in the store, you could see everyone start to clear out because of all the blowhard salesmanship he spewed. Anyway, sorry to hear you will not be in there anymore. No reason for me to be there either. Keep in touch.

Lowcountry,
I will be just getting out of surgery, so maybe we can move the meeting to my room at St. Marks. Just a thought. I will be there in spirit, but my but will be in a different place. Maybe in the surgical bag. (lol) Butt of a joke. Oh hell I could go on for hours like this. Wish I could be there. Let me know how things go, and RAW, The fishing is getting hot. It is tiime to hit the river. Oh and by the way, I found a really good place for Morrel mushrooms. For anybody that has been looking for them. Phone me.
Geez, I think you guys are being a little rough on the owner. He's a great guy, especially if you're in the market for a $700 flyrod or a guided British Columbia Steelhead trip. The place really changed when Tom sold his business to the jerk. I sure will miss the tying demos in the winter time.

Too bad,
The last friendly 'lil fly shop in Davis/Weber gone to hell. Let's see what kind of "Blowhard Del-Clone" they get to run the place now.
There are alot of us the who spent the extra $$$ just to support Steve and stop in and say hello to other f/fishers.
The owner's attitude always seems to be "get-in-get-yer-stuff-and-get the hell-out", unless you had time for some pompous story about the world's greatest f/fisherman (self annoited and canonized, of course).
Keep in touch Steve - I need a wiper lesson.

Are they all going? Going to be tough to stay in business. I just heard that Sportsmans warehouse will be selling Abel rods soon-
I know it has to be a lower end model but at $75.00 it will be taking business away.
Are we going to have any sort of theme/bug's to try to tie, or just the classic tie and bull shit sessiona usuall?

sorry I didn't make it, I got stuck in some traffic and didn't get home until 7:00. If my stuff was all together I would have come late but it would have taken another half hour to get my stuff ready.
