Be sure you check in with the propterty owners before you fish the stretch between the 2 reseviors and below Viva Naughton. This stretch is ALL private except for about 100 yards below Viva Naughton dam, and the property owners are VERY touchy. A UOTF buddy and me went up there several years ago and got into some trouble with the a guy in a truck who patrols the area. The property is not very well marked and there was no indication of where to go or what to do, but if you're on their property without a permit, look out! As I now understand it, you must go to a ranch/farm house located about 1/2 way between the reseviors and pay $20 for a day pass to fish this stretch. I've never been back, and the guy that kicked us off said only 2 words to us "GET OUT", we tried to ask how we could fish there and apologized for our mistake, but received no response so I'm not sure this is accurate information, but I can attest to the fact that the property owners patrol the area and are very rude if they find you on the property without permission. Maybe someone else can jump in and enlighten us all as I hear the fishing is pretty good in this section.
