I didn't get to stay for the whole Western Rivers event so I'll try to make up for it now. I'm wanting to tie some good warmwater patterns, especially for Carp, Bluegill, and Crappie. Anyone willing to share a couple (hopefully more than a couple) recipes with me? Please include what fish the fly would best be used for.

Thank You

Here's one called 'Crappie Candy' that I really like:

One guess what species it's for ;) Actually, though, it looks like a killer smallmouth pattern, too.

Later, Josh.

Thanks Fishin ID,

I tied up some of those Crappie Candies in a few variations. I'll let you know how they do for wipers and crappie.

"I didn't get to stay for the whole Western Rivers event..."

I think the whole idea was to get you to buy the book! :)
