I know that posting reports is a no, no, so I will not mention how good the fishing has been at both Paragonah, and Kolob (both are free of ice). So, if any of you southern boys would like to know how good, just ask....I'll tell.

PBH, what about Yankee and Navajo? I would love to get up after some brookies...have you been to either of these lakes yet?

Yes, I have been to Yankee. I hit it on the 15th of April. There was enough open water around the north end of the lake (dam side) that you could fish. The brook trout were very active and aggressive. They would just hang on the edge of the ice wiating to ambush anything that hit the open water! The lake should definately be completely ice free by now. Paragonah was a ball. Those rainbows in there are about as fun to catch as anywhere! Better looking than a hatchery 'bow also. Kolob still had some chunks of ice floating around on Monday, but the action was fast!

Paragonah is always a blast to fish...I heard some guys say that fishing last summer in Paragonah was better than Kolob--the fish were bigger and you could catch more!

I saw a 24" Rainbow that was taken out of Paragonah through the ice this winter. Are you coming down this weekend?

I guess I will have to make a trip to Paragonah this year. Actually, I have been wanting to go up there for a while.
