Anyone been there lately? I fished Hyrum Sunday and some of the bass boys said they went last week - hammered the crappie and at about 6 pm. starting throwing jerk baits in the same area and picked up 3 muskie- one at 18#'s. Thinking of hitting that this week sometime- and has anyone driven the road from Avon to Liberty latley- it would save me some time.

Fished for muskie Wednesday afternoon (w/ a 10 weight and clousers), hooked one but he wrapped me up. Fished for crappie (w/ a 4 weight) for an hour and a half and caught a half dozen 12 inch fatties. Nobody else really did any better except for one guy. He was using a yellow grub-tailed jig w/ a chartreuse head. He killed them.

Thank you very much- thought those guys were being a little over stated on the crappie action.

I've never fished for crappie and I'd love someone to show me to ropes. Reading it and doing are two different things.
